Can JS suppress windows messages?

Hi all, I have an issue and am looking for some help. This would be a quick fix (if it's even possible), 'cause I am working on, and will be going the Perl/CGI/etc. route, but for now, here's the sit.

I have a "mailto" web form. When the site visitor clicks on the "Submit" button they get this message...

Then when (or if) they click "OK" they get another one...

What I've been hearing is that if visitors to the site run into these they are less likely to follow through.

SO, What I'm looking for is a javascript (or whatever) that I can put in the input tag for the "Submit" button that will suppress these messages. Or perhaps something that will answer the messages for them and make it go away, I don't know. Any ideas?

Sorry RS.... the problem with that is that is would violate security measures that have been built into the browsers. I suppose if the users turn their security settings down, this message won't come up, but developers decided that it was too much of a risk to security to offer that on any kind of secure setting. These Message are supposed to be warnings for the user, and because of that, remote access to them would be a breach of that security. Sorry.

I Have Been Planning, and Will be, however, writing a tutorial shortly on Perl/CGI's. I'm going to cover reading data from a submitted web page, saving that data to a file, and also having the CGI e-mail the owner of the site. I'll make sure to add the link to this post when I have completed the tutorial.

Sweet, thanks Coma (can I call you Coma?). That's kinda what I thought on the browser security, just thought I'd ask. I look forward, with great anticipation, to your tutorial! In the mean time I will keep pluggin' away, as time allows (remember all the kids I have).

Ps. I read and try to respond to most posts that I know something about. I know C/C++, and ASM, but I don't code it enough any more to be proficient enough to answer most questions about it, so I stick to the stuff I use a lot! :)
