hello..


i am uploading excelsheet into database using php. but when i am uploading then characters are displaying ascii type.

Are you inserting as blob entry or just uploading to the site?

I guess something is wrong with character set encoding you are using. Check this and this and see if you do wrong with anything on encoding.

Could you please make this question clear. Are you trying to place an exel file into a database or are you trying to extract the data from excel and place that data into mysql with php?
