Hey guys, i need to know if i can find a FREE excel like datagrid that will allow inline editing and has drop down boxes for some fields. Also filed may be able to collect their default data from a session variable.

I have tried this:

Check out extJS. There's an editable grid that works just like an excel spreadsheet

ExtJS is a javascript framework for the UI. It will work with any server side scripting language ... including PHP

Cool, that's good, I had a look at it but... Its not free!!! Do you have a better solution that would maybe be free??

ExtJS is FREE (GPL) unless you are making a commercial application
