I have a GUI which I have compiled it with Cygwin and it talks to an electricity meter using Chinese protocol DLT/645. However, in some other parts it seems that IEC1107 is used to communicate. The thing is I would like to know how I can used the current GUI to start from scrach and get the let's say Voltage, Current, Active power, Power factor of Phase 1?

On the page 21 of the following document, it is written that what the HEX code is used to talk to the meter. I wonder if I can use the Hyper-terminal to catch the meter reading?
