Hi I have a folder containing a lot of shortcuts so i need to check if the shortcuts paths exist

Well, if you want to download the document that exsplains the layout/format of a .lnk file, you can parse it and get the root file name from it and check for existence.

There might be a project on sourceforge for this.

Check out this suggestion that says to use the MsiGetShortcutTarget() method
