Hello, I've been programming for at least 5 years now, but I've only done freelance programming projects for pay.

I was wondering what to expect from a company position as a software QA tester using C#.

What kind of skills are important that aren't immediately obvious, and will it be possible to familiarize myself with the specific testing tools in a few days after being hired?

Should not worry too much about it.
Be confident with the skills you have.
The rest will follow gradually.
They never expect a newbie to lead the software department.
Success!

Alright then, thanks.
