Hello people,
I am writing my own python code which calls a batch file to execute a download files from the ftp, the file size varies regularly.. is there any way to pause the execution of the code until the download completes. ?? i am struck in this part of my project, plz provide me guidance by helping me in this situation.

print('Loading...')
file=urllib2.urlopen('http://heanet.dl.sourceforge.net/project/numpy/NumPy/1.4.1/numpy-1.4.1-win32-superpack-python2.6.exe').read()
print('Ready')
