Hello Everyone,

I don't know anything about VB.net. Just wanted to know if it is as simple as VB 6.0. Last semester I had done a project on DBMS and had used VB 6.0 as front end and MSAccess as back end.

This time its a project on RDBMS. I wanted to know if i can develop this project with VB.net as front end and MSAccess as Backend. Or is it necessary to go with Oracle.

I didn't have much problems while learning VB 6.0. Is VB.net similar to that?

Please help me.

Hi Sweety,
I found VB.Net much simple to use than VB 6.0. If you are comfortable working with OOP , learning VB.Net will be a piece of cake for you. MSDN library is the best resource for learning that. you can try out http://www.codeproject.com/vb/net/ as well. All the best!
