I haven't done crystal reports for a good few years, but from memory ...
The report has little to do with the grid. You need to learn how to create a table in crystal reports, to display your data. It is very easy to do, you have a header, repeating sections, and a footer. You'd just have to make the report look the same as the table.
The data could come from the same stored procedure though.
