Hi everyone,

I have a problem with connecting vb.net to oracle database.
At first I used VB.net 2010 express, but is does not support
oracle so uninstalled it and replaced it with VB.net 2010
ultimate trial edition. Can you please give me some codes
on how to properly connect vb.net to oracle when clicking
"Connect" button? I don't have any background on oracle :(
my platform is Windows XP SP3, and we have an oracle 9i for our
database. Thank you very much.

check you have the proper sqlnet.ora and tnsnames.ora files. And make sure these file have the connection properties to your server. And for connection string you can refere the link Click Here
