Hello, I have been using Google AdWords for a while but unsuccessful. Usually, it costs me around $2.50 per click for a keyword like 'Asian dating site'. is there a secret to pay for less than 50 cents per click? Thanks guys.

I have two different conversion goals set up in AdWords. Is it possible to set a CPA bid for Campaign #1 to only take into consideration one goal, and a CPA bid for Campaign #2 to only take into consideration the other goal?

For all the internet marketers out there; you may want to begin formulating a new Adwords strategy for your Clients. Google Adwords is pushing a change which will spell out the end of exact match keywords. This change comes into effect sometime in September. Previously when you setup a campaign you had the ability to opt out of Close Variant keywords. This meant that you could target specific phrases "Web Design Forums", "Website Design Forums", etc. without Close Variant's interferring and subsequently displaying your ad when someone searched for "Website Design Companies" for example. For high competition niches the more …

I currently have an ad group that is set to Default bid $0.02 and Display Network bid auto. Under the Display Network tab, in the Interests & Remarketing section, I have two types of audiences that I have a +100% bid adjustment for. Under the Topics section, I have a topic that I have a +25% bid adjustment for. I don't have any specific bids on individual keywords. For today only, my average Search CPC is $0.02 and my average Display Network CPC is $0.07. Is there any way of figuring out how Google is calculating the CPC?? How is …

I have an Adwords account with $100 in it. I want to be able to sell my Clickbank products on Google Adwords? Google Adwords doesn't allow bridge links like the ones Clickbank gives me? But I thought I might be able to do this.... http://www.domain.com/?hop=joe34b Would that still give me money if the user buys something? Or what is another way I might be able to do Adwords with Clickbank if this won't work?

I am sure you have all heard the adage of “Once you pop… You can’t stop.” Yes that is the notorious Pringles jingle. I like to think that more than not in today’s pay per click marketing strategy world this adage is happening daily. Is it the right approach? NO! But believe me when I tell you many businesses today pop open their pay per click campaign whether good or bad for them and burn through a lot of dollars without looking at the consequences of it. There are three things you can’t take back easily in pay per click …

This week's post. Share your thoughts, comments, experiences.... Whew… Cutting it close for this week’s blog, sorry to keep you waiting, this week’s is short and sweet. Let’s get real. Pay Per Click ads all look the same, let’s face it. They all use all of the buzz words Premium, Superb, Affordable, Best, Super. Ok, here is a crazy thought instead of being a sheep, be the shepherd and quit doing the same thing everyone else does. Let’s think about what is being said in ads and put it in a real world example. If you were to go drive …

As someone who works almost exclusively in Google for Adwords campaigns I was wondering if Bing had anything similar. I would imagine they do but as I do not spend a great deal of time outside of Google (per my clients request that I focus on the SE that will return the best traffic).

I just want to post my frustration and sheer contempt for the new AdWords interface. It's making it very difficult for me to get anything accomplished quickly, and is the reason I am still at the office right now. So, without further ado, dare I say ... GRR.

I just logged into my Google AdWords campaign management to find a new feature: demographic bidding. This new feature allows you to bid on, or exclude, certain demographic groups, such as users of a certain age or gender. A new reporting tool in the campaign management settings shows you a traffic report by gender and traffic report by age for the past seven days. Age is broken down into the age groups of under 17, 18-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-65, and 65+. It then allows you to make adjustments to each bracket by increasing or decreasing your bid by a …

IT security professional Didier Stevens has been conducting an experiment into computer user stupidity by running a Google Adwords campaign which offers to infect your PC for free. The advert actually read: Drive-By Download Is your PC virus-free? Get it infected here! Which should be enough to stop all but the terminally dumb from clicking upon it, yet hundreds of people did just that during the six months of this remarkable experiment into sadly predictable user behavior. The user agent string which identifies the site visitor to the server, and includes browser application information, shows that an amazing 98 percent …
