since my last post At least it's stopped flashing, but it's still too large where it doesn't matter, and too small and faint where it does. What hasn't changed is the #1 spot at the top of the reputation ranks. A whole year without posting, and AD/Narue still couldn't catch up. Gotta admire the volume though AD, well done. Shame it goes under appreciated. Geez, there's time for the world to end (again) before that changes. Ohh, activity points - something else to measure quantity as opposed to quality. Figures, most of the top of that list just spam away …

I'm not sure if this is in the right forum, but here goes. I'm running a home server from an old (not too old) PC, and have a cooling question as the title insists. It might seem stupid, but my question is, can I put my PC by my air vent so it can intake cool air to keep the CPU at a low temperature; I'm asking since the home server is going to be on most of the day. Thanks in advance, sorry if it's a stupid question, ~Asian EdiT:Also, would putting it by the A/C vent damage the …

Hello all, My question is, when using Visual Studio, and compiling this piece of code:
int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { SDL_Init(SDL_INIT_EVERYTHING); SDL_SetVideoMode(640, 480, 32, SDL_OPENGL); SDL_WM_SetCaption("OpenGL Awesomeness", NULL); //run time error here SDL_Event event; while(event.type != SDL_QUIT) { SDL_PollEvent(&event); RenderScene(); SetupRC(); SDL_GL_SwapBuffers(); SDL_Delay(60); } SDL_Quit(); return 0; }
I get a runtime error saying that I'm using a variable that is being used and not initialized. I know that SDL_Events cannot be initialized, and am wondering how to fix this problem. I have before, but the soultion has currently escaped me. Thank you for your help in …
