hello,
<div> <div class="floatLeft"></div> <div class="center"></div> <div class="floatRight"></div> </div>
The question is - how do I make the div with class "center" actually in the center. Those 3 divs doesn't take all the width available. Another divs are floated as class name says.Or should I use different technique?

This is code that I currently have right now so that I could have text centered in a div box. But there has to be an easier way, can someone show me how? Code I am using now: <div id="teampiccontainer" style="width:1000px; height:100px; background-color:#EB6262; margin: 0 auto;"> <div id="text1" style="display:table-cell; vertical-align: middle; width:1000px; height:100px; margin: 0 auto;"> <center>This area will contain the team picture, for now just ignore this text. Hello Community, I was wondering if there is a way to get only the visible section of the image from picturebox1 and place it in picturebox2. So what I have is picturebox1 set to a certain size, and the image size mode is set to center. Picturebox2 is also set to a certain size but the size mode is set to sketch. In the example I've attached the dash line represents the border of picturebox1. So what is on the inside is what I want moved to the second picturebox. Note all the images in going in picturebox1, most of …

I know this has been asked a thousand times in other locations but I have tried many solutions and can not get an answer. I have two divs, one called overlay and one called image_case. The overlay covers the entire page, then the image_case is suppose to be in the center of the overlay div. But the image_case doesnt have a set width becuase a new image is always placed inside of it, so i can not get the div to be centered. <div id="overlay"> <div id="image_case"> <a href="#"><img src="uploaded_images/6a829a83a66232a390ceabf942c6e02b.png" /></a> </div> </div> CSS #overlay{ position:absolute; position:fixed; z-index:1; width:100%; height:100%; …
I'm currently redesigning my website in Dreamweaver CS5. My site was previously made in iWeb, which centered the page automatically in any browser at any resolution. When I preview my site in Safari using Dreamweaver, the whole page seems aligned left. Another issue (which I should probably also post in the JavaScript forum) is that a JavaScript menu bar I'm using is sticking even more to the left. Is there any way to align it center, then center the entire page?Any help is appreciated. If you need sample code, please say so.
While it looks fine I would prefer it to be centered on my monitor. I have tried writing a code that will center my web page but am having no luck. I'm sure that it is a simple fix but I can't seem to get it to work. Anyone out there know what code I should use to center my web page? Thanks.
