I've been following this whole 'Bloody Dazah' debate for a while, and have largely resisted from commenting as I was struggling to have anything positive to say. However, having now had a long chat with Dani about Dazah and DaniWeb I have to admit that I've changed my mind with regards to negative thoughts about Dazah and the way DaniWeb integrates with it. Indeed, I'd go so far as to say that I think Dazah will be the saviour of DaniWeb and we should support Dani in her efforts to ensure both have a future. Dani could easily have just …

I pulled up Opera and it had its VPN enabled. On the sites I clicked on Daniweb but was logged out so no biggy, log in. Then I went to Dazah.com and the matches felt off. Someone was zero miles away so I googled that company and it wasn't in the state. Hmm, more poking around and Dazah had me somewhere in Germany. Nope that's not right. Aha, I had the VPN enabled. No biggy, just turn that off and close the browser, open it back up and check Dazah again. Still in Germany. Fix: Logout and log back in …

Sorry for the downtime earlier today ... I'm working behind the scenes on merging all of Dazah functionality *into* DaniWeb. This means starting out by getting them both on the exact same infrastructure. Dazah has a lot of security benefits over DaniWeb, so I'm currently working on doing a lot of things to increase DaniWeb's security behind the scenes by incorporating Dazah's anti-bot technology into DaniWeb. DaniWeb, of course, has always been pretty secure ... but Dazah was designed as a login platform, first and foremost.

I want to focus a lot on developing new features for DaniWeb, and getting us back to our former glory. However, a lot of doing that requires the community's investment and involvement in Dazah. Who out here in Internet land has any interest in building a Dazah app? If no, what are the main hesitations? What could I be doing to pique your interest?

I love the idea of Dazah as a virtual meet-up connector, but the quality of proposed connections really needs to improve a tad methinks. Take this one that just arrived: > About abbas haider > > i wanna job i'm a bachelor Riiiiiiiiiiight. 1. I have no vacancies. 2. That's one heck of a poor CV.

I want to use Dazah app: https://github.com/Dani28/Dazah-Business-Networking as a means of members log in. What does this mean "Upload all files to the document root of a PHP-capable web server (nginx, apache, etc.)"? I feel that all files should be inside some folder, e.g., root/dazah or something like that? If so, what should be the name of the Dazah app folder?

I am interested in accessing public meta data within an audience on Dazah platform without an authenticated user. Does the API have an oauth/token endpoint? Thanks, Henry Villadiego Web Video Specialist

Hi, I once tried dazah. I could login into my old account on daniweb. But once I tried after a while I couldn't, even when I used forgot password. I was expecting that i would be given a link to change my password which didn't happen. I had to register with a new account to gain access. Truth be told, I don't think am enjoying this **dazah** whole idea. Please I need help as to our to regain access, using my old login. Thanks.

PM notifications are now handled by Dazah. This means the notifications themselves will be originating from Dazah instead of from DaniWeb. The benefit of this is that you can go into your Dazah settings and configure whether you would like to receive instant notifications, a daily digest, or suppress notifications. Dazah has more robust notification handling and so, even with the Instant notifications setting enabled, you will no longer receive a notification for every message received while you're engaged in a long back-and-forth chat. Additionally, you can disable message notifications in Dazah while still receiving the DaniWeb monthly newsletter and …

Which of the following is the most intuitive? Which heading would encourage you to sign up (taking into consideration you arrived at this page upon attempting to join DaniWeb and were redirected, and this page is hosted on dazah.com and has a Dazah branded UI). * Sign Up for Dazah: DaniWeb requires a Dazah account to connect (Current) * Sign Up for Dazah: DaniWeb is part of the Dazah network of communities * DaniWeb is part of the Dazah network of communities: Sign Up for Dazah

Hey guys ... Over the last year or so that I've been hard at work with Dazah, I've received multiple requests from people offering to help. I am now in *way* over my head, and I would be eternally grateful for anyone who might be able to offer up their time and skills. While I continue to work on DaniWeb and the actual Dazah API itself, I have a list of people who all would like to use Dazah, but the only thing in their way is the barrier to entry. Please, please ... if anyone can help me write …

I moved this post to a new question. since it was getting lost. Something I've been meaning to bring up for sometime. I can't login on Chrome Mobile. I get the sign in page, but then it just goes back to the generic home page with the login link. I'm using Android. It could be a cookie issue, I guess, though I haven't messed with any settings and there haven't been any warnings about not being able to set a cookie. It doesn't present any error message, the login is just basically ignored, and I'm re-directed to the home page. …

Hi, Unfortunately all of the Dazah integration stuff with DaniWeb is taking *much* longer than anticipated. I'm still working to try to get it out for you guys, but it's just taking a really long time. That being said, now that the concept of a Dazah login has kind of settled in, for the most part, do you find it a very poor experience, indifferent, etc.? I know you guys aren't really seeing the full benefits of Dazah quite yet, but I just want to make sure that it's not a *worse* experience than without it.

Hello everyone, I want to use Dazah app for single sign-in at my forum, http://forums.tssfl.com, just as it works with the Daniweb. I'm currently doing installation, which I hope it should work, but I thought there will be some coding to get the integration working. I do have little knowledge of PHP and, I may not be able to do it. Can anyone give me an idea where to start or how to do this? _1_6

So today I get this email from DaniWeb and it's promoting this new business social network Dazah. So after working hard to fill out the initial profile and write the perfect elevator pitch as they call it, I'm so frustrated that I'm wasting my time logging in here to complain about the whole dami thing. This site needs so many things it's not even funny. Once you do finally get in there's no account settings area no contact form no edit area. As a matter of fact you can't even load a photo from your phone which is where 60% …
