i've recently published an app but i keep getting this error on machines other than mine. unable to load DLL acbpdf8-64.dll, module cannot be found HRESULT:0x8007007E I've copied all the dll's into the /bin folder, so i get the debug and release folders, along with all the dll's, but still nothing?. i've searched online, and did what was needed, but i still get the error. btw, the error used to be about a abcpdf8-23.dll, but i changed my app to "any cpu" hoping it would fix the issue? Anyone ever come across this? any fixes that work? Thanks.

Hi, I was wandering if someone could give me some idea of how i would design my application in regards to what to put in the exe and what to put into the dll. At the moment the exe is just getting bigger, and I have never built such as large application so I am not to sure as to what to put in a dll file and what to leave in the exe?? Would I leave the gui design in the exe and leave the logic in a dll or put them both in a dll and call it …

Hi folks, Okay, here's the scenario; I've got 2 DLLs, "A.dll" and "B.dll", that I'm referencing within my VS2010 C# project, "ProjectC". "B.dll" also contains a reference to "A.dll". "A.dll" contains a class, [ICODE]ClassA[/ICODE], which contains an automatic static property called [ICODE]ClassA.StaticProperty[/ICODE]. Now here's where I'm a bit uncertain as to the behaviour of my application; let's say "B.dll" contains a class method that reads [ICODE]ClassA.StaticProperty[/ICODE] called [ICODE]ClassB.FooBar()[/ICODE]. Now, if I say [ICODE]ClassA.StaticProperty = Bob;[/ICODE] somewhere within "ProjectC", will [ICODE]ClassB.FooBar()[/ICODE] see "Bob" when it reads this static property later on in the code? I'm using a simple scenario because the …

I've spent several days looking for info about precisely how to do DLLs and have found bits and pieces here and there but noplace that ties it all together. I'm thinking this could grow into a 'how-to' for DLLs which might be useful for others as well. I'd like to have code in there that people could actually use. At the moment, I'm primarily interested in C# calling into C, but it'd be good to have one place that describes any-to-any types. Also, having a static link example would be good too. I'm using codelite.org v4684 for compiling. In fact, …

hi, I have a windows forms application with one exe and several dlls(Class libraries) in a single solution. The application uses common data that is used across all the dlls. I would like to load the data when the application is starting up and use the loaded data at various points in the dlls so that I do not have to load the common data again and again. How can I share the data loaded in main EXE across the DLLs? Thanks in advance.

I have a computer that is missing uvewawaz.dll. Does anyone know what this dll is and what it is for. I have a message that comes up and states that the "uvewawaz.dll" file can not be found. After I was do doing what I needed to re-due I imported the saved regedit file and restored the regedit. It said that not everything could be imported and updated. I checked to …

Hi Guys, I'm in the process of developing an ActiveX control which is designed to check the status of an installation and the config of that installation if it is there. I'm 5/6ths of the way there, but in one of my steps, I rely on a 3rd party DLL's functions to check the config of the install. Now I'm not 100% sure but I think that these functions are trying to access the registry, and I'm not sure if ActiveX is allowed to do this (or if it is, then how it should be set up to do this). …
