It's an interesting question, and one that's being raised by Gartner which is predicting that the number of wireless e-mail users will reach an incredible one billion, worldwide, by the end of 2014. A number that's not too hard to accept, given that earlier this year global business wireless e-mail accounts were being estimated in the region of 80 million, and that's equivalent to around 60 million individual users. Monica Basso, research vice president at Gartner, points to how the productivity gains achieved with using wireless e-mail are driving adoption beyond the purely executive reach and reveals that "in 2010, …

It's imperative to always stay on top of people with as many angles as you can possibly get. Customer service is always key. However, in order to get those customers, you must stay on top of them and make them a priority so that you can give them excellent customer service. Here's a great technique on how to generate new business. First, we begin with networking. It's absolutely …

Okay I'm sure you read the title and rolled your eyes, but I can't seem to figure this out - so I need some help. I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to php. I've read a bunch of various forums threads (from here and else where), and they've helped some, but I'm still having trouble. From what I understand I know the user needs to find a file from there comp and upload it in the html form, then the file goes to the server, and (what I haven't been able to find/figure out) the file is …

Good morning! We are currently in the process of moving e-mail providers and moving to an Exchange server housed at our data center. What we were told to do was to create the Exchange account in Outlook so that we would have two profiles - the 'old' profile and the new Exchange profile - and simply drag-and-drop the e-mails, subfolders, calendars, etc. from the old profile to the Exchange profile. This seems to work for the calendar, contacts, and even most subfolders. But when I try to move e-mails from the old Inbox over to the Exchange Inbox, the e-mails …

If you've ever had an e-mail's tone misinterpreted, rest easy. New software ToneCheck allows you check your e-mail messages before you send them and flags sentences and phrases that might lead its reader astray.ToneCheck is the brain child of Matt Eldridge. After losing a deal due to appearing too pushy in e-mails to a client, he founded Canadian-based company Lymbix Inc. ToneCheck says studies show that e-mails are misinterpreted a whopping 50% of the time. As I work with a number of different clients who are using e-mail campaigns (through Constant Contact as well as their corporate e-mail), Blogging and social media enagagement (twitter, FB, youtube) to drive leads to their e-commerce sites, I am curious to know which ones work the best and in what industries these successes are being seen. If anyone would care to share their experience (good and bad) with any of these channels it would be appreciated. Please include the industries that you saw these results. Thanks.

I have been using Tweetdeck quite a bit to keep track of the people I follow and to take care of my tweeting without going through a browser. I just recently downloaded Digby which is an awesome tool for managing all of your social media updated and e-mail. Has anyone else been using Digby and what are your experiences? Also while I am still a novice Digby user, are Digby and Tweetdeck complimentary products or competitor products? As Digby handles more than twitter I don't know that it would be competitive with Twitter but you never know.
