This 'sticky' thread is for working examples of Python GUI code. Note that most wxPython examples have their own thread. Please use comments in your code to help the reader. The example code should be usable as a template, so folks get a feel for the toolkit and can use those examples/templates as a basis for more complex programs. We also welcome code that compares the various GUI toolkits. Again, don't clutter up the sticky with questions. Ask question in the regular forum. Not necceserily aimed at a beginner, I would rather see a professional quality example, and preferabbly the project would use some common tools for java, javadoc, build tools - gradle or maven as I'm going to learn one of these two - and either svn or github for revision control. I hope I'm not asking too much there, but I'll take what I can get! I would like to have a browse through some …

Hi all, First-time poster and netadmin/infosec guy trying to get into coding. My company uses a SQL Server 2005 database to store customer information and the like, and I'm hoping to learn to interact with it programmatically so I can write and/or customize software to make life a bit easier around here. I guess my question is a general request for help in overcoming the inertia of my inexperience and making that first crack in the shell of C++/SQL interaction. I am, at least in significant part, a learn-by-doing kind of person so that might explain my eagerness to jump …

Hi Everyone I'm busy preparing for my programming examination and I would really appreciate it if someone could just give me some references(websites) to some c++ programming exercises. I believe the best way to prepare for this kind of examination is to practice writing code and understanding it. Thanks!
