DEll PC Windows 10 Outlook 2007 One user has no items listed in the Sent folder. This incident happened after the local eletric supply blacked us out three times a couple of days ago. The user was in Outlook 2007 and was about to send an email. The email is in the Outbox. The owner has tried to run the Inbox Repair Tool but it can't find the C Drive. The PC has two hard drives set up as a RAID Mirror. Disk Management reports the RAID as Drive E. I tried to change the drive to C: but received …

First I was on that console window, and everything seemed easy because I could break everything down and knew EXACTLY what I was doing to get what I wanted done. However, that boring text-window got tiring. I decided to move on, but that was the biggest mistake ever. For over a year now I've been struggling to use classes in C++. I just don't get it. I always get errors, the syntax is too complicated, I don't know what the hell or how they are 100% constructed, I always get confused, I can't just get it "sorted" right. And not …

Am planing to invest about $150 - $200 for Raspberry Pi 3 and 2HDD's with 2TB and let them run. I have readed this article which gives you a education how much will cost/earn you <link removed>. And here is the website which offer this <link removed> What do you think, does this investment is good or money waste ?

Hitachi has now announced a 1-terabyte internal hard drive, claiming they're the first to unveil a 1 terabyte hard drive in the industry. It doesn't sound terribly impressive, given the fact that storage mediums are increasing faster than you can blink an eye. However, they have done quite a feat if you look more closely. For one, the pricing is very attractive. This hard drive costs a mere $399, cheaper than a lot of smaller-capicitated portable hard drives. This makes it quite inexpensive to get the huge amounts of storage, which will especially attract server-storage people. Secondly, they have made …

I've had my external HD for a while now (Rock mobile disk). Last time I tried to access the data in it was a few months ago without issues. I tried using it yesterday and started to have issues. I have 600GB of data that needless to, is very valuable. It doesn't matter what machine I plug the laptop to (Vista, 7 or 8.1) I have a hard time getting them to read the HD. Once it finally decided to show up, I cannot do anything with the files. What I have done: [\*] Uninstalled drivers [\*] Ran windows Fix …

I had a trusty external hard drive for many years, it was a 500gb Seagate which worked fine up until the other day when the internal port for the mini usb detatched from the board and I was left w/ no way to connect it to my laptop.. Seagate failed to help me at all and external sources directed me to get another enclosure for the hard drive which I finally found @ my local Staples here in town.. It is an I/O Magic 3.5" USB 2.0 Enclosure (Works w/ IDE & SATA) I thought I was saved..:D When I …

Hello everyone I am facing a problem that I have never encountered before and googling around just isn't helping. I was assigned to migrate a pmWiki server to a new MediaWiki server which was supposed to run as a virtual machine on a Red Hat Cluster Suite. My coworker and I had to copy paste almost 2000+ articles. During the migration my coworker decided to make a backup script with which he effectively deleted the libc library and many other important data. We copied the image of the Hard Drive in order to extract the database of our wiki but …

I had purchased a Netgear Stora for back up and after a year the fan went out so now the device won't start. I took out the HDD (Seagate 1TB 3") and purchased a Dynex enclosure so that I am able to access the disk. Win7 installs the driver and says it's ready for use but is not listed under my computer. I went to disk management to assign a drive letter and I don't have an option to do it. I see the drive but no letter and no option to assign, change, delete, format drive. I went to …

Hi, I am planning to build a budget gaming PC with the price limit of roughly £400. I have found a group of components that add up to make roughly £350 and I was wondering whether these components are worth there money, if it will be good enough to play games well on medium graphic settings and what needs upgrading for future proofing. The aim is to build a cheap PC and as o gain more money I can buy better components as the next gen comes out. Here are the components minus the PSU: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/western-digital-internal-hard-drive-wd10ezrx http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/patriot-memory-psd34g13332s http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-f2a85vpro http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-cpu-ad641xwngxbox http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-video-card-gtx650e2gd5

Hi I meet a problem I bought a **WD HDD** (WD2500AAKX) with **SATA3** connection but my **motherboard chipset** only supports **SATA1**. The question is: how to set **jumpers** and to slow down speed at 1.5 Gbps? On the HDD is saying that Jumper on Pin 5-6 slow down to 3 Gbps. When i connect the HDD, the BIOS doesn't see it. And all over the internet it saying that SATA3 is **compatible** with SATA1 chipset **thanks in advance** :)

Why would you set one hard drive as master and the other as slave? Is the hard drive a master by default? The master would plug into SATA0 and the slave in SATA1 on the motherboard, right? As an example

A few months ago I replaced my Toshiba Satellite A665 hard drive. A couple of weeks ago I upped my RAM from 4 to 8Gb. Is it a coincidence that shortly thereafter it started not to boot properly? When I wake it up from sleep the hard drive starts to spin, then it suddenly goes black, and then the (safe mode) window with the "start windows normally" highlighted appears. I click and it starts up again but anything I was working on is now gone.

I have a dell dimension 8250 that I've had for quite a while. Up until now I've been able to fix all of its problems but I was swapping out a hard drive and I accidently pulled out half of the power cord and the computer short circuited and it took about 5 minutes till I could boot it but when I booted it it couldn't find my hard drives at all. I've tried doing a forced IDE config I've switched the hard drives and switched the power supply. The bios menu still shows that I have all my ram. …

Hi:) Would any of you know how to solve one of the following problems? I dont't care which one!! 1. Write a program that reads in student marks until –1 is entered then display the highest mark, the lowest mark, and the class median. 2. Setting up matches for a single elimination tournament is fairly straightforward. All you need to do is randomly assign the first round of games and the rest is all deterministic (there are no more choices to make) Create a program that allows the user to enter as many names as he or she wants and …

Hi everyone, When I purchased my hard drive, its size was 1TB. Iformatted it a few times and I don't know why and how it has lost 70GB. Is there a way that I can get it back up to its original size? if yes, Will I be able to do the remove operation on it while it is plugged in?

Recently while watching a show online in bed my laptop decided that it had enough of this world and threw itself off the nightstand. Upon trying to turn the laptop back on after a few minutes I get the error of either some wires came unblocked or faulty hardware and it can't boot up. My thought is that I've killed my hard drive and lost everything I had on it. However to test this theory I removed the hard drive and stuck it in my external hot swap and the drive shows up with my main partition as well as …

Hi I have, almost in a panic, realised that I have some hard drives that need to be replaced as they are 6 years old. Although I have had no issues with them I thought replace them before they fail. It still seems a shame that a working hard drive has to be scrapped as it is old so I thought why not set up a RAID 1 and use the drives as an addition to the new drive. The logic being that when one disk fails the other drive in the RAID will have the data safe. I plan …

I added a second Hard Drive to the extra bay in a HP Pavilion Notebook and it disappers after a few minutes. It then comes back if you reboot and fades out again. Sometimes it will come back and ask you if you want to do something to the new drive. What is happening?

Hopefully my question is pretty simple... Currently I have an ubuntu server (I am not runny server edition, simply the 32-bit desktop distro), but when I built it I was not sure what I was doing with it just yet, but decided to have it as my low-wattage home media server. I installed the OS onto an 80GB drive (had to be ide) and later bought a simple pci sata raid card to add 2 drives (1 3TB drive and 1 1TB drive). I would like to have the 3tb drive be the main file "holder" and have the 1TB …

I took the hdd out of my external computer to transfer a large # of files (over 1TB worth) and to use the full 3tb I made it a GPT Partition. Now since I want it back in the normal enclosure the computer "sees" it, in the device manager or a partition manager, but they say it is a MBR and needs formatted? I am assuming it has to to with the sata to usb converter in with the enclosure. I just would like to see the 'old' record with the gpt partition of 3TB's. Thanks.

Short story, I use to use a 1TB drive and need to upgrade since I have many more files on 3 separate 500GB drives. So I decided to buy a 2TB to replace that drive and put the 1TB in a separate lower power pc just for downloading / seeds. I bought the drive online and received it today, so I started transferring files; my one major file (800GB) to the new 2TB drive and watched for a little over 1/2 hour and had to leave. Coming back I had 2 different programs, and a windows notification telling me the …

I got an ubuntu cd time ago and it said it was a bootable CD so I tried it out. It ended up installing in my machine somehow and I tried to search for my pictures and other files with no result. I took the hard drive out and put it in an external enclosure (it's an ide hard drive and couldn't make it a slave on my other comp. which runs windows xp) but when I turn the enclosure on, the hard drive is not recognized by my working computer. It does not even acknowledge the enclosure being connected …

This may sound like a dumb question but I was wondering if my mouse and keyboard functions (and other built in functions like wireless) will be functional after I upgrade the hard drive without any data transfer from the old hard drive and then installing a new OS. Or would I HAVE to use the recovery disks that came with the laptop in order for those internal functions to work?
