is written, slander is spoken. But I'm more inclined to treat a forum discussion as a spoken exchange, thus slander is the correct term in my opinion.

Personally, if a transaction goes bad on ebay I contact the seller BEFORE I leave feedback. If it's something was an honest mistake, and is remedied, I leave neutral feedback and an explanation of what happened. As an occasional seller, if I made a mistake or didn't give enough detail about a product I would remedy the situation. And as a buyer I …
