If you've taken a marketing class, you were definitely taught about the "4 P's" (Product, Place, Promotion and Price). I could sit here and talk about that, but I'd rather get a little more specific and talk about how it pertains to internet marketing. Product: What are you selling? What are you offering? What makes you unique compared to your competitors? These are all very valuable questions to ask yourself before moving forward with an advertising campaign. Perhaps you have many products that you offer. You must decide which product will be most effective to advertise. After all, you're going …

Hi, I would like to make a window with a given size, and a scrollable textarea to a given place within. When I tried the same with a button instead of textarea, it was no problem: make a JFrame, put a JPanel inside, put a JButton on the panel. Then call `myPanel.setLayout = null` to kill the layout manager, and `myButton.setBounds(...)` to place the button where I want. The problem is, I tried to use a JScrollPane and a JTextArea in the same way, but setting `myScrollPane.setLayout = null` makes the scrollbar not appear. If I do use the layout …

Hi there, I'm having a little bit of trouble modify my colleagues old website (a new one is being made currently, but I'm tasked with fixing some issues with the current one). Look at the blue buttons saying Previous and Next on the bottom of this page: http://www.electrix.co.uk/view_products.php?offset=10&id=86 In IE7 they display fine, but in Safari (latest version) and Firefox, they display either "wonky" or with two arrows per button (one hiding behind the text), as if each button has been duplicated. Any idea why this would be? Here is the CSS for said buttons:
.beth_link_right { width: 100px; padding-right: …

Hi. I'm creating an interface using the Tkinter library, but I seem to be having some issues with placing 3 buttons BELOW 3 buttons which are on top. All buttons should be inside the second LabelFrame. I've looked all over and I can't seem to figure out why the other buttons are not placing themselves below the top 3. I've tried various options using the pack method such as side = BOTTOM or anchor = SW, but they don't seem to be helping at all.
from Tkinter import * class GUI(): def __init__(self, r): self.r = r self.i = StringVar() …
