In most of the books I've read on HTML5, they use <section> as a main container, and that then may have <article>'s inside it. I have also seen other tutorials that will show <article> as a main container for an article, or even a book, and then have <section> used as sections of the book (or sub sections). Anyone care to discuss the way they use them? Example of the way I have used: <body> <section> <article> <p></p> </article> <article> <p></p> </article> </section> </body>

I've got the beginnings of a website, with the header and navigation bar already implemented. I also have a main section implemented, but only in absolute positioning. I've tried many things, but how would I go about positioning it relatively? Every time I try, the section and the header get all mixed in with each other. I want the section to display in the middle. Here's my HTML...: <!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <title>B by Bruno | A friendly corporation</title> <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"> </head> <body> <header> <a href="#"> <h1>B by Bruno</h1> <h6>A friendly corporation<span id="point">.</span></h6> </a> </header> <nav> <ul> <li><a …

Hello everyone. I have successfully added an image to my JPanel, but what I want to do is this: I want to be able to mark a section of the image as clickable. Then when the user clicks within that section, I run some action. So essential I want to give the feel of a button and action Listener. Any suggestions please?

Im working on a form that I need to break in sections. example form.cfm?section=A, form.cfm?section=B and form.cfm?section=C. When employee access form.cfm?section=A, form.cfm?section=B and C need to be disable only section A will available for user to add input. when section B is accessed by supervisor section A and C are disable and when section C is accessed by VP both A and B are disabled. Is there a way to do this with a JavaScrip function? Thanks

Hi all, I seem to have an issue with my CSS. The page setup that has the issue is: <footer> <section 1></section 1> <section 2></section 2> <section 3></section 3> </footer> The sections are set to 33% width and floating left. The containing footer does not seem to expand in height: What it looks like (very rough still) http://deval.roundthebend.info/about_us.php

What is meaning of "nature of entity"? e.g. kind of function, global variable? Is there any code to check it? Also, how to detect the memory section in memory map? e.g. environment, command line arguments, code/, global initialized data, global uninitialized data, stack, heap etc. Is there any code to check which kind of memory section? For example, I got a variable named "x1", what kind of code to check the "nature of the entity" + the "memory section"? Thanks.
