Okay if you are having trouble installing xp, you have come to the right place.

BEFORE BEGINING INSTLATION MAKE SURE YOU HAVE
500 mhz processor speed(AMD K6-2 or some Intel Pentium 3)
384mb of ram(Only 128mb is needed to run xp alone, but if you plan on installing anything you need 384mb)
Disconnect any hardware plugged in to pci, pci express, agp, or any board slots.
remove any floppys from drive
Have a working ps/2 keyboard/ mouse hooked up

now install windows xp

then when installation is complete DONT REBOOT, SHUT DOWN. reconnect any hardware and anything you disconnected before

install drivers for hardware, (contact your manufacturer for updates for the hardware)

now xp should be running
