This is a very common problem so if you need help with IE read this
Now first you should make sure you have the most up to date version of internet exlorer. If you dont download from microsoft.com or automatic updates. There are two problems that this tutorial will take care of 1. IE slow loading pages 2. IE
hijacked by spyware.
1. Some times i have seen posts about IE not loading pages now to get rid of this you first want to scan using ad aware and spybot search and destroy. If this first attempt fails then try using zilla connection accelerator it config your system for the appropriate type of connection (ie:56k,DSL,cable,etc). Now if you are still loading pages slow you should goto start<all programs<accessories<System tools<System restore and restore it to a point before this problem started to occur(if possible) then restore. If the restore fails than try using another web browser like mozilla.
2. First off you have to scan with spybot S&D and ad aware to remove unwanted spyware. If this doesnt work try hijack this which i would not reccommend for people with little computer experience (if you do decide to use this then post your hijack this log on daniweb so someone with experience can read it). Now goto start<run and then type regedt32 now a list of folders will come up on the side the folders we will be looking at are HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. In both these folders you will find subfolders expand the one named software and now scroll down the list and look for the name of the software that has hijacked your IE (ie:mysearchbar, navbar, etc...) nad right click the entry and click delete.
Now if all else fails try a system restore or just get a new browser with better security.

P.S. in sp2 internet explorer comes with better security so when that is officialy released make sure to update your system
