I have a requirement to allow a user to upload a PDF document to my webserver then the webserver should send the PDF documnet to a printer driver which has been installed on the server using the print to file function to generate a new file called (original name).prn and save that on the server.

Mentioning ASP in your first post or posting it in the correct forum would have been more helpful in getting an answer. Are you using classic ASP or ASP.NET?

I am very sorry this is my first time on Daniweb and I have never posted anywhere else before please excuse my basic mistakes.

I am using asp.net but willing to use anything that can get the job done.

I'll move this to the ASP.NET forums then and perhaps some of the resident gurus can help you out.
