i am a php developer. i have query.
i have to send a email with the MS Word document attached to it. The document is submitted by the user along with his form through a HTML file. the email contains the form details entered by user and the attachment uploaded . this should be done only in CGI

Then why mention that you are a PHP developer?
That has nothing to do with the item at hand, and since that was the only thing that gave any indiciation about what this might deal with, we can only assume you wanted it in PHP.
Maybe this will help you a bit further (although it has been years since I have seriously done anything with Perl so this will be my last message here).
