Drupal 404 Error Page Not Working

Hi this is Scorpionz...
first of all Hi to everyone.

I have a drupal 6 install in my system, that i am using with Xampp Cross Platform.

Now the issue raised here is that:
when I run this path

http://localhost/drupal-test/
It works fine....
Now
if i run this
http://localhost/drupal-test/test
http://localhost/drupal-test/anything

It redirects me to .....
http://localhost/xampp/

Even I created on root 404.php page
and define it at :
Administer->Site Cofiguration->Error Reporting

It is not configuring to my 404.php page?
Whats happening?
Any response will be highly appreciated..
