I want to read data from a pdf file. I used file_get_contents(); but i didnt get the result...please help me..... very urgent.

Have you tried opening the file with adobe acrobat reader( free download from Adobe)?

Pdf files aren't encoded in plain text; if they were there would be no point to having another file type.
