Ok so on my website (Click Here) you can see how the text is going into the background image a little bit. I'm leaving it there to show this as an example of my many problems. Well what I was thinking is should I remove the background image, and just wrap the whole top part in a div and give that div a background? That way it would also be responsive to text if zoomed in or out for example. You can zoom or in right now and you can see how it looks different. Any other suggestions or should I go with this?

Putting in Divs would be a better option then you can manipulate things through CSS.I cant see scroll bar in your site.
