dell inspiron 2200 power led is on and the fan is spinning, internal hdd is on (i can feel its vibration and ticking on start) but there is no picture on display (even the dell logo is not showing). I can touch the gpu chip and is getting a little warm, the cpu is getting warm too. But even plugging an external vga display there is no signal (or picture) what should be a problem

Hello guys.I have a problem with my pc.It actually works good but after about 4-5 days when i restart it he won't boot up and shows me message on the monitor no video input check for cables.Then i have to shut it down and when i boot up pc works normaly for 4-5 days and again same problem.Do anyone know why is this happening?Also my aura sync software wont work properly afrer 4-5 days and thats the reasone why i restart pc.

I am running Windows 10 64 bit on an HP Compaq 8200 Elite Small Form Factor with 8 GB RAM. I just learned the max RAM for this computer is 32GB. Though the computer runs fine as is, I've given some thought to upgrading the RAM. As I do not do any gaming and use the computer in just an 'ordinary' fashion, I'm wondering how much RAM would be overkill. For example, would I see more speed and general overall operating improvement at 16 GB? And even more at 32GB or no? Thanks

hey guys can u please help me. My pc turns on, the fans are on and so are the lights. But my monitors says there is no signal. I tried everything, i search on the web for answers but no of them worked like, reseting the cmos (i think i did it right) I also tried the beep test (dont know how to call it) but i never got any beeps. I also tried a different walloutlet for my PCU to see if it got enough power but nothing. Different monitors and cables. I dont know what to do anymore …

I'm going to build a new computer, and ran into such a question. The processor (R7 3700x) has a maximum frequency of 3200, and the question is ... will it support a higher frequency? Let's say 3400, etc.? And right away a similar question about the motherboard. The choice fell on the Gigabyte X470 AORUS Gaming Ultra AM4, https://mobilespecs.net/motherboard/GIGABYTE/Gigabyte_X470_AORUS_Ultra_Gaming.html but later noticed one feature, it has a 4xDDR4 limit of 2933 MHz. Will it support higher frequencies, at least 3200?

HP 8200 Elite SSF Windows 10 pro 1909 I suddenly developed boot issues. The monitor stayed black but the power supply fan would run. After about a full minute, the fan would rev up to full speed and continue until I forced a shutdown. I may have solved this problem on my own. I will post one way or the other when I know for sure. so i had bought a new graphics card and new powersupply for a pc tower my friend gave me. When I upgraded them both on my computer tower, i pluggged it in and now it wont start at all. Not even the fans turn on. The power button blinks like 3 times and then never does it again until i unplug it for a bit and then plug it back in. I could easily buy a liquid cooler and call it a day, but unfortunately this is going into a 4U rack server chassis. it has a double 120mm fan but its covered by drive bays. the only other fan is 80mm, and i dont know any liquid coolers with a radiator that small. I am thinking air cooler. It is a i7-7800X so im concerned about temps. Ideas for cooling?

I just got an i7 8700k from hardware swap and the 3rd core is running way hotter than the rest. Its sitting at 68 degress celsius, while the rest are in the 30s. I've reapplied the thermal paste and it didn't change.

I worked this issue for over 10 hours yesterday and got nowhere. Maybe the braintrust here has some ideas. I have an Asus essentio desktop, with Win 7 Ultimate SP1 installed. So I basically tried to make a gaming pc, first one. And I encountered a big problem. Hello, Am currently facing a problem with my home PC, whereby upon switching on, all the lights switch on normally (HDD, DVD-drives, PSU), then just seconds later, it switches off by itself, and again some seconds later, starts to switch on by itself, but again goes off (in a loop). Used two different tvs, one has hdmi and rgb in, and the other has pc in (vga?) and hdmi, use two different cables and nothing. I have not used the pc in with audio yet (a double sided vga cable with audio for monitor), was wondering if I even need that type of cable. I used hdmi to hdmi and hdmi to dvi for the two cables. So I was installing a new SSD in my PC. After doing so, the PC made continuous beeping sound. Then I researched about the problem and came to know that continuous beep is due to CPU. Then I removed the CPU fan, cleaned up the thermal paste, then put the fan back.(NOTE- No thermal paste was on the CPU, I just thought of putting it later i.e after checking if my SSD is working properly).But this time, the PC did not make any noise, there was only flickering of lights and when I connect a USB light, even that flickered. …

After recently reciving a used Gateway GT5622 from my grandfather, opened it to see what ram and GPU it was running. About 3 weeks after this, i decided to boot it up and possibly use it for bitcoin mining. I attached the cables for the power supply, keyboard, mouse, monitor, and ethernet. When I attempted to power it on, the power light flashed randomly, one of the fans was in sync with the light, going of at the same time the light did.
