I think there's no need to submit your site to huge list of search engines. Submitting to top 3 SE's which are Google, Yahoo and MSN are enough. Just focus on building backlinks so that you site will gain popularity.

You can't tell to google to update their cache. They are the one who set on when to update. Try to submit your sitemap, I think this can help.

Here is the link where you can submit your site. http://www.google.com/addurl/ But I think you don't need to submit your site to SE, bots will automatically crawl your site and index it.

I think there's no issue about that. It's good if you submit both your sites.
Google just announced that underscores will have the same effect as dashes so this will no longer be true in the very near future.
Good news for those who loves using dashes.

Try to get more backlinks with high pr. Of course don't forget to check the site wether it's a dofollow or not so that it can pass pr link juice.

Yes, I agree on that. Although email marketing is also a good technique but remember it is also considered as spamming. You really near in trouble.

I think registering alone in forum won't increase traffic. In order to other people visit their site, they still need to post and put their t sig.

Well, I still wait until there is a concrete evidence that chrome is bug-free. Right now chrome have still bug and I think I am wasting my time if I'm going to customized the theme.

How come that link exchange is a black hat method? You got the links in a proper way by offering a link exchange to other website owner. If it is paid links, maybe it's a blackhat because you pay something in exchange for the traffic.

There are lot forums that have thread looking for a freelance. All you need is to have internet connection. But make sure that before you make a deal with them settle first price for the service and know what kind of mode payment they accept. Beware of the scammmer.
