Please Oh Please can anybody help me!!!!

Better to say is use Mozilla firfox

Well... i hate using mozilla because nothing works the way i like it..... can you please help me with my IE connection.....

Is there anyway to help me..... I do not want to have to reinstall the OS.

Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked':

That is the only bad thing I can see. Have you tried uninstalling, the reinstalling IE6??

try setting your internet explorer settings back to windows default then try using zilla connection accelerator it worked for me. y doesnt mozilla work for you it is a lot better than IE?

Browsers are persional preference,I don't like the way Mozill does a lot of things and would not say its a lot better than IE.I really like IE because it what I'm use to ,the same way I felt about the earlier Netscapes like Gold and early 4.0 on up to 4.7. i hate the newer netscapes

Have you downloaded SP2 recently?

Been 12 months. I don't think they are listening :D.

lol yeah but I had the same problem and i was looking for a solution and came across this site 'n' it was because of SP2 so yeah i dunno.. felt like putting it on lol..

Theres always someone listening !LOL

Lol. :D .

LOL..... I got an email... saying people replyed.... I waited a whole year to get my computer fix... and you still do not have a fix.....

LOL

Anyway, i did fix my computer. Here is how you do.

Just run these certain FREE programs

SPYBOT - Search and Destroy
Ad-Aware

You can find these programs on google. I would do the search but, it takes too much of my time.

I now own my own business called Hightek Designs, I specialize in Local Computer fixing in the state of Florida. I also do website designs and hosting. I have just launched reseller accounts. I do not mean to advertise, because it is most likely a rule. I just want to tell you what has happened in a years time. My business does pretty good locally, and I will be expanding.... so i hope everything goes well for myself. I am currently in College getting a degree in computer science, and I can tell you how a computer is made :) But anyway, it was weird to come back here a year later. I remember posting this question. I have learned alot in one year. I even use HiJackThis with my clients. It is funny how life goes... anyway....... google for my site if you want...... "Hightek Designs"......it is a hyphen instead of a space... and you can add an ending to it..... you pick a famous ending..... and you should go to my website...... anyway... i hope that didnt count as advertising.... lol... i know how some websites are mean about this, anyway.... only people that are smart will be able to find it...

Nice to come back here :)

Joshua

hello

I am using IE 6

I hv been using Internet Explorer for so many years and never encountered problem

But for last 2 days my IE just freezes everytime I open it.. then it will get to normal after 5-10 minutes bt still again if i open a link in new window that link again freezes and comes to normal after 5-10 minutes. I even tried uninstall it and install IE7 bt still the same problem exists.

I then installed Mozilla and its working fine... bt i dont like Mozilla... I want my Internet Explorer to work normally again.

Hi sam1607.

First of all- welcome to Daniweb :).

We ask that members not piggy-back questions on to a thread previously started by another member here in the Viruses, Spyware & other Nasties forum, (regardless of how similar your problem might seem). Not only does it divert the focus of the thread away from the original poster's problem, but it also makes it less likely that you yourself will get the individual attention that you need.

Please start your own thread and post your question there. When you do, please try to give us as much specific info as possible regarding the problem (exact error messages, system specs, etc.).

For a full description of our posting guidelines and general rules of conduct, please see this page:
