Hi

My network has a proxy server installed. I need to go through that server for internet connection. In my windows xp machine,I get internet connection through IE. But firefox and chrome doesnt work. The IE setting for proxy says, automatically detect the settings. But with the same option for firefox and chrome, they are not working. So I want to manually configure my firefox for proxy. For this I need to find out proxy server IP address and port number. How to get this information?

Thanks in advance. Any suggestions are welcome

contact your system administrator for proxy server ip address and port number or you may contact who created that proxy server.

I was not expecting such a solution in this forum but a technical one. I want to know by command line method or so whether we can find out something. I tried to use 'proxycfg' but did not help.
