facebook seems to hate english people. our school system is different and if i choose to be not at school then it says i must be 18

The FaceBook privacy policy (or what passes for one, effectively it states that all your private information is theirs to do with as they see fit for all eternity) is in violation of privacy laws in many countries, including the entire EU.

I've largely abandoned Facebook. It's only useful for managing events with people who don't use anything else.

Social networking sites are highly overrated :P
