Jobs in public education are better paid than many other places as well (senior school principals can make >$100,000/year). And typical teacher makes ~$50,000/year.
Nursing ain't too shabby either at ~$70,000/year.

While finance is still near the top they aren't as highly paid as in other countries (typically $70,000-$120,000/year)
