In regard to .xml sheets and style sheets and .xsl;
On my site www.foroffshore.com can I use xml on my index page and if I would google crawl the content of the star sheet or would it just look at the xml?

yes you can use xml in you and google can crawl through it..
most of blogs use xlm and google can easily crawl the content from them....
