There is no doubt that link building is one of the best off site SEO practices. However I am not able to benefit from it, I am doing it as it should be done. Have created 10 different blogs for the same topic, all these blogs are regularly updated. Each blog post contains two links, one link to the website that I am promoting and other to some other blog. Still I am not benefiting from Link Wheel, what am I doing wrong.

You are trying to manipulate the search engine into believing your web page is important because it has relevant links pointing to it.

You might have high competition for the keywords, create 4-5 link wheel in a month can bring any keyword in good position.
You can also do social bookmarking for each blog link for more effective result.
