Wikipedia now has its own app for iPhones. From what I have read it is simple, open source and while not fancy it gets the job done. For people who create their own wiki's, does this offer an opportunity for people creating their own wikis to take the open source code and create their own custom iPhone app?

Regarding my original post, I just read on Mashable that a new startup called Sweb Apps allows you to build a simple iPhone app for your company in a few web form driven steps. Mashable's columnist said that while the app interface and overall functionality are relatively basic the upside is that you do not need to hire a developer to create the app.

Would you or your company do this?
