Hi,

I would like to put paypal on my site. I am not sure what I should go for, as its so poorly layed out i can't understand exactly what each product does.

What I want to do is:
-> When someone clicks on the `payNow` button, a screen pops up and it gets their credit card info,
-> processes it,
-> and then sends my website the result.
-> Either `payment ok = true` or `payment declinded = false`.
Or something like that. there is no need to delivery details, or any other stuff. As it is all getting taken care of on my end.

From that explanation, what product / service do I need?

Thanks

Click on the Business tab
Select 'Accept Credit Cards on a Website'
Select the Try it Now link next to the free one with no monthly fee
Under 'Choose Button Type', select 'Buy Now'
Fill out the rest of the options ...

The steps are as bellow :

1. Shop securely on merchant websites and eBay
2. Make purchases with your credit card, debit card, or bank account
3. Send money to friends, family, or anyone with an email address
4. Receive money through bank account payments

I thought a merchant was a bank.
What does being a merchant mean?

Some merchant accounts have lower fees than PayPal. It would also be a good idea to investigate the security of the transactions for your customer's sake.
