Hi everyone

I just updated my Imac to 10.4.11 and as a result I cannot open pro tools. My computer tells me that the digidesign hardware is in use with another application. when trying to open the Pro tools document the computer tells me that an application is using the DirectIO and to quit all applications before running pro tools. I looked and looked but all applications (that I know of) are not in use. Can anyone give me suggestions.
