I have tried to reinstall the OS using the original disc that came with the laptop. The following error occured: " File ntkrnlmp.exe could not be loaded. Code error 7". When I looked it up on the net I found that there could be two errors, one with the ram module and the other with the BIOS settings. I changed the RAM module but still have the same error.
Can anyone guide me through how to flash the BIOS?

don't flash the bios.
is this a fresh install?
check the cd make sure it's clean
did the setup bring you to a screen to format the partition that it is going to install on

When I tried to install the Windows. The OS was almoust installed when it just crashed. After I have turned it on, I had to start the installation process from the beginning and the error sceen appears at some time when windows files are being copied.
The disc is in perfect condition.
