I picked up my laptop quickly and by accident "cracked" the lcd screen (looked like a big old thumbprint and lots of lines).

I have been told from the people I bought it from that it will cost $450 to replace the screen. That is half the cost of the laptop.

I have heard that replacing the lcd screen is not that hard.

Does anyone know where I can get a tutorial on this??

if i new the make and model of the laptop i might be able to direct you to one specific to that laptop

What's your laptop brand? and for what? you should post your needs, we can give you some help. These days I also upgrade a Acer 19" Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD Monitor, it's on sale for only $120 at a deal site

Not sure if it's suitable for you. you can give it a look, and post what you needs.
