I have two XFX 512mb 9600GT's in SLi on Vista x64 Ultimate...
When I boot the pc, it shows '512 ram'... is that my video card, or is that referring to my actual computer memory? (It can't be, because I have 8gb of memory)...
I get this in the NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT dialog box:
Adapter Information:
Chip Type: GeForce 9600GT
DAC Type: Integrated RAMDAC
Adapter String: GeForce 9600GT
Bois Information: Version 62.94.11.0.3
And here is the thing i'm wondering:
Total Available Graphics Memory: 2556 MB
Dedicated Video Memory: 512 MB
System Video Memory: 0 MB
Shared System Memory: 2044 MB
Now were is the 1024 MB of graphics memory? Again, I have 2 XFX 512MB 9600 GT's in SLi, and there should be 1024 MB of dedicated graphics memory.....
SLi is enabled in the NVIDIA Control Panel.
