What can cause a motherboard not to start up. I just need to know it works so what does it take for it to work at bear minimum. I just want to see a light flicker or a fan spin... somthing.

Jump to PostYep check the main power connector to the board itself. Just pull it out and stick it back on again, making sure its not lose or anything. It should be done firmly but without the use of excessive force as that could crack the board as well. So try that …
