Hello I have a Compaq Presario 2500 and the plug where it goes into my computer gets so hot it melted I don't know if its a motherboard problem or what. This is the second charger that it happened to in the last few months. If anyone out there has a fix for this it would appreciated.

coud be a motherboard problem...please check with compaq maybe they got a solution for this...
