So I recently bought and external hard drive to back up some files and it works fine when the computer is already turned on but once i have to restart or just start up my computer it stops at the first screen i tried just letting it process the informations figuring because of the size of the drive it would take awhile but it never leaves the screen. If someone could help me i would appreciate it. Thanks

I have no idea how to change my bio settings it is under the version v02.58 and I have no idea how to change it so i can boot with my external hard drive plugged in, it is a WD drive with 1TB.
