Hi, I was wondering if I got an Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.6ghz, is that 2.6ghz PER core (5.2 ghz total), or is it the total for all of the cores? Thanks in advance.

Jump to Postit is 2x2.6 ,but not really a total of 5.2 as each core works independently of each other , also make sure you have more than 1 ram chip as each core will perform better with its own stick of ram,or something like that .so 2 gig ram at least …
