Hi, have had my Dell desktop PC with XP for about 5 years. a couple of weeks ago it started to randomly switch off after about 30 minutes of use. The problem has become increasingly worse, and it now only stays on for a couple of minutes. There is no warning, it just switches off.
The on/off button remains orange (hibernation mode) and I cannot switch it back on. To get the pc back on I have to turn it off at the wall, and then wait for a few hours. However now it not worth doing that as it only stays on for a couple of minues.... HELP>>.. any suggestions. To avoid annoying people who kindly answer.. can you please make the response simple terms.. as I am not advanced in knowledge !! Thank you.
