I have a hp laptop which is about 2yrs, the problem is that no matter for how long u charge it, it never charges full. Is it that the battery is weak or some other problem.
Please can somebody help.

The battery is probably worn out. Batteries wear out over time. You get about ~3000 charge cycles.

have you tried draining it up and then recharging it?

A battery charger is a device used to put energy into a secondary cell or (rechargeable) battery by forcing an electric current through it.

The charge current depends upon the technology and capacity of the battery being charged. For example, the current that should be applied to recharge a 12 V car battery will be very different from the current for a mobile phone battery.

hey, buddy, you need to power off the laptop when charge the battery, normally the battery warranty is one year, mayby your battery had to retire.:idea:
