im thinking about what kind of video card to get for my computer but im wondering if i buy a DDR3 or DDR 5 video card will it be just fine with my DDR2 memory in my computer?

it will be just fine. The graphics card ram is actually GDDR3 and GDDR5, GDDR5 being faster. all you need to worry about is if your power supply can handle a new card. No point in getting a really powerful card if all its going to do is blow your power supply and ruin your computer.
