My uncle brought me his emachine to fix and im kind of stuck. When you try to turn it on Cpu fans come on, the hard rive comes on for a brief second and then idles, the light around the power button turns on, Cd-Drive comes in and out fine, I know Emachines are notorious for crappy PSU so I removed it and used it on an other tower and it worked. I am assuming that the motherboard is bad but when I remove the ram the computer starts beeping is that a sign that the motherboard is still good? There are two of them and I tried them on the motherboard in every combination, because I doubt that both would die at the same time or could that be it?
